Cassie is no stranger to the lime light being a top agency represented model for most of her life, but modelling has taken its toll at times and presented stresses that as it turns out all of us face day to day - anxiety, exhaustion and burn out.

I met Cassie at a networking event just as Mind High Club was being established, I am so proud to say she is a dear friend and without a doubt a #NaturallyDaring woman.

Cassie Cameron

1. How would you best describe what and who you currently are?

I'm the founder of Mind High Club, an online mental wellness & transformation destination. I'm also a passionate advocate for and teacher of meditation, and Psych-K facilitator, empowering people to free themselves from stress and limiting belief systems and be who they really are.

2. Are you reading or listening to anything at the moment?

Yes - always! At the moment I'm listening to The Expanded Podcast, Joe Dispenza's work and reading Mastery by Robert Greene.

3. How would you describe you have got to this point in your life and career?

How long do you have? Haha. This journey all started when I found meditation. When i went through a period of my life of textbook "doing it wrong" when it came to business, I was over-working, and under-self-caring, leading to burnout, stress and panic attacks - the works. Meditation was the one thing that got me through, and on the other side of this, an incredible transformation occured which changed my life forever. And that's when Mind High club was born. It's now a whole different ball game of how I live and work.

4. Has there been one person instrumental to your growth and success? How did they impact you?

There have been countless people on my path who have contributed to my growth in so many different beautiful ways, including all the holistic health practitioners I've met and worked with, my meditation teacher, my very closest friends on a soul level, mentors I've had coffees with who have given me nuggets of wisdom, my wonderful loving husband...To truly answer this question in line with my values and beliefs, I would say the most instrumental person to my growth and success has been...me! Truly, the only person responsible for our lives and destiny is us. We are each the masters of our own life, and we tend to forget how poweful we are. No one can do the work for you, you need to do the work. And when you do, baby it pays off!!

5. What would you be doing if you weren't on your current path?

I'm ecstatic to say, for the first time in my life, I'm 100% living and embodying my path and purpose. It's hard for me to imagine another reality right now. I honestly don't know.

6. Do you have a routine or habit that you practise that allows you to do what you do?

Yes, definitely. Daily routines, habits & practices are a core pillar to my wellbeing and ability to function on the level. I truly believe it's what we do every day that matters as we are what we continuously do. One of these of course being meditation. The style of meditation i practice is Vedic Meditation (or Transcendental meditation), and I do this twice a day morning and evening. Other tools/habits/practices I regularly do are yoga, breathwork, psych-k balances, exercise, gratitude practice, mindfulness applied to daily life, and nourising my body with healthy food and supplements.

7. What has been your biggest or best failure and what did you take from it?

With the risk of sounding "cringe", the single biggest failure looking back on my modelling career and in business was failing to know who I was and truly believing in myself. I look back and I'm like, damn girl, if only you knew you had it back then, imagine what you could have done! What I've learned from that is that your inner world transforms your outer world.

8. What's your personal quirk or point of difference that has helped you to excel in your field?

I'm not sure about that one, I'd have to survey the people around me to ask them, haha! I will say though that I think if you have a genuine passion which you embody completely then that's a recipe for success right there, it's just physics.

9. What's the worst piece of advice you've been given and why was it so awful/useful?

Jeez. Taking a trip down memory lane here...the absolute WORST piece of advice I've ever had was during my time as a model, where I was cautioned to be realistic and stay small. Don't aim to high, don't expect too much. You'll never be successful. What a load of absolute shit! The literal reality is so very different from that, it's the exact opposite, and more people (especially models) need to know that.

10. How do you define a #NaturallyDaring woman?

I absolutely LOVE this term, Naturally Daring. To me, what that means is a woman who is fully in tune with her intuition, she doesn't have to try to create her strength and drive, she naturally and effortlessly embodies it. It's innate. She just knows it. She doesn't have to hustle and strive to take it, she just takes it. She doesn't have to prove anything to anyone or fake it, she just is it.
